Kopitiam stall offering Xiao Long Bao Buffet at S$18.80 per person

Ramen restaurant, Master Wang’s new kopitiam stall at Woodlands is currently offering a Xiao Long Bao Buffet at just $18.80 nett for adults and $13.80 nett for children below 12 years old.

There are five dumpling dishes on the buffet menu: Original Steamed Dumpling (Xiao Long Bao), Scallop Steamed Dumpling, Lala Steamed Dumpling, Fragrant Pan Fried Dumpling and Steamed Dumpling.

This Xiao Long Bao buffet also comes with a complimentary seafood mini wok.

The buffet is available every Monday to Saturday, from 5pm to 8:30pm, limited to first 30 customers per day. Diners are advised to make a reservation at +65 8733 3171 before heading down.

As Disney Pixar’s much anticipated movie, Toy Story 4 opens this weekend (20 June) in theatres, cinema chains are now selling cute Toy Story 4 collectibles. We compare these cute merchandise for you in this page.

Cathay Cineplex

Cathay introduced drink toppers that come in five designs, namely Buzz Lightyear, Woody Bo Beep, Alien, and Forky.

The Toy Story topper, cup with 24oz soft drinks are also sold separately at S$8 each. For movie goers can top up S$5 to get an additional Toy Story cup (with 24-oz soft drink and topper) after purchasing the standard combo.

Golden Village

Collect the twelve Toy Story 4 finger puppets  with the purchase of the popcorn (S$13.50), nachos (S$14.50) or hotdog (S$14.50) combo meal. These combo meals come with a regular drink.

Additionally, with every pair of Toy Story 4 tickets purchased from Jurong Point or Tampines, movie goers gets to also bring home a collectible sticker.

GV Movie Club members enjoy $1 discount. Promotion is valid till 31 July 2019. Collectibles are subjected to availability, while stocks last.

Shaw Theatres

Toy Story 4 combo retails at S$12.90. This is inclusive of one regular popcorn, one regular drink and one alien collectible cup.

Additionally, for every pair of Toy Story 4 movie tickets purchased at either Waterway Point or Jewel Changi Airport, movie goers also gets to receive a limited edition Toy Story 4 button badge.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite’ mobile game to launch on 21 June 2019

Augmented reality game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will be officially launched in the United States and the United Kingdom tomorrow (21 June 2019) on both Android and iOS devices. The game representative has yet to confirm if the game will debut in other regions.

This mobile game which is a partnership between Pokémon Go Company, Niantic Labs and Warner Brothers Games let players use their wand and prepare potions to resolve the crisis in the muggle universe.

Players role-play as wizards and are expected to travel in the real world to track down and restore missing magical artifacts, creatures, people and memories to their original places. These items, also known as Foundables, are likely to appear in community parks and libraries.

Players can also buy food and drinks at virtual inns and even duel against Death Eaters and other creatures alongside fellow players at places known as fortresses.

This game also features characters and items from Harry Potter series and Fantastic Beast and where to find them.

Korean boyband NCT 127 to hold concert in Singapore for the first time

South Korean boyband NCT 127 will be holding their first ever concert titled Neo City: Singapore – The Origin on 20 July 2019, 1700hr at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. This is part of their world tour concert which kicked off in Seoul in January this year.

Concert-goers can look forward to them performing their hit numbers like “Cherry Bomb” “Fire Truck” “Whiplash” “Limitless” and more.

Tickets are priced from S$168 to S$288 and would be on sale from 23 June 2019, 1200hr. Fans can purchase the tickets from either the Sports Hub Tix Website, the Singapore Indoor Stadium Box Office or any SingPost outlets.

Singtel mobile users gets priority and can purchase the tickets one day earlier on 22 June 2019, 1000hr via Singtel’s Facebook page.

This Yishun retro snacks shop sells its goodies via Facebook Live and conducts lucky draw

Remember the S hook lady who made Facebook live selling seemed like its such a breeze?

Now, this Yishun retro snacks shop is also using the same platform to sell their old school snacks. Each Facebook live session, which last at least an hour features many of the old school snacks found in their physical shop. Facebook users can comment during the Facebook Live session to order. There is no minimum purchase and delivery charge ranges from S$3 to S$5 for orders below S$50. Free delivery for orders above S$50.

This snacks stall occasionally also sells Insta-worthy, home-made snacks. Their latest creation is the cartoon marshmallow retailing for S$13.50 per bottle.
