LiHo launches limited DIY Bubble Tea Kit for 15 from S$48

Fans of LiHo bubble tea rejoices! The company has launched its DIY Bubble tea kit which allows you to make your own drink.

Currently exclusively sold online at its Shopee store, the DIY kits are restocked everyday at 12PM.

Currently, there are two DIY kits available. They are the Milk Tea and Black Tea Oat Latte with golden pearl DIY kit. Each DIY kit can make 15 to 20 cups of bubble tea.

The Milk Tea DIY Kit is currently retailing at S$69 (Flash Deal Price: S$48) while the Black Tea Oat Latte is priced at S$118 (Flash Deal Price: S$85).

Sushi Tei has launched its new island-wide delivery set menu for two and is offering up to 35% discount.

There are four set meals for you to choose from:

Sushi Tei also recommends all orders to be placed 2 hours in advance via their hotlines. (88210377 or 88218277) between 11am to 9pm.

Payment can be made via PAYNOW using the receipt you receive after you placed your order. You would also have to key in the last 5 digits of the receipt at the reference section.

Delivery is free for purchase above $100 and a $5 delivery fee will be charged for orders below $100.

Professor Brawn Bistro launches islandwide delivery for GongCha and food menu

Social enterprise, Professor Brawn Bistro, which sells western food and GongCha Bubble tea is still open during this period.

Bubble tea lovers can still visit the bistro for takeaway at Redhill. Recently, they have also launched an islandwide delivery service for its food and Gongcha drinks.

Elusive Lyrid Meteor Shower to rain past Singapore skies tonight, possibly up to 18 meteors an hour

The Lyrids Meteor Shower, one of the oldest meteor showers known to man, will be passing by the skies of Singapore tonight (22 April 2020) and tomorrow (23 April 2020).

According to astrology website, Science Centre OBservatory, the meteor shower is predicted to peak between 2.30am to 6am, SGT. At its peak, it’s expected to have 10 to 15 meteors an hour and could possibly reach up to 18.

However, due to the light pollution of Singapore’s night sky, it might be difficult to observe the meteor shower.

StarHub requires customers affected by outage to manually apply for one-off 20% rebate

Starhub experienced network outage on 15 April 2020, leaving many users who were working and studying from home unable to use the internet for hours.

As part of the service recovery, the telco is now offering a one-time 20% discount to its subscribers. This rebate will be reflected in the May 2020 bill.

However, this rebate is not automatic and affected subscribers have to manually apply for it.

Here are the things to note:
  1. Complete the broadband rebate registration form before 26 April 2020, 2359hr
  2. You will receive an acknowledgement email once you submit the form
  3. You will receive another email before the May 2020 bill to confirm the successful application of rebate onto the May 2020 bill
  4. For users with multiple Home Broadband services, the one-time 20% rebate is applicable to all services affected.
