A normal double scoop ice-cream retails for S$10.90.

KFC Singapore celebrates early National Day with new tze char-style cereal chicken

With McDonalds and Burger King revamping their menu with limited time promotions, KFC Singapore is joining in the bandwagon from tomorrow (28 June 2019) with its tze char-style cereal chicken.

Each piece of cereal chicken is selling at S$3.65. The Cereal Chicken Box Meal, which consists of two pieces of cereal chicken, two pieces of Hot & Crispy chicken tenders, fries, whipped potato, coleslaw and a Sjora Mango Peach drink retails at S$10.95.

Additionally, the Chocolate hazelnut egg tarts will also be back on the menu for S$1.50 each.

The cereal chicken will be available at all outlets except for KidZania, Sentosa and the Singapore Zoo.

McDonald’s Launches McSpicy Delux, Bandung McFlurry and more today!

From today (27 June 2019), for a limited time period only, McDonald’s is launching three new items to its menu. They include the McSpicy Deluxe, McMuffin Stack and Bandung Soft Serve.

Additionally, the Creamy Herbal Chicken Pie (S$1) and Kueh Salat Cake (S$5.20) will also be back.

McMuffin Stack (From S$5.30)

For those of us who wants a heavy breakfast, McMuffin Stack is the way to go. There are two chicken sausage patties, one crispy chicken bacon strip, one sunny-side-up egg and one slice of cheddar cheese in the burger.

This item is available only during breakfast hours. While stocks last.

McSpicy Deluxe (From S$5.90)

This is an upgrade from the usual McSpicy burger. It contains additional ingredients like the white cheddar cheese, tomato and some tomato jalapeno relish. The normal sesame buns are also replaced with the soft cornmeal dusted bun.

Bandung Soft Serve

The Bandung Soft Serve comes in various forms. They include the Bandung Soft Serve Cone/ Twist cone retailing at just S$1. Bandung sundae topped with strawberry sauce (S$2) and Bandung McFlurry (S$3).

These desserts are available exclusively at all of McDonald’s dessert kiosk. While stocks last.

Burger King launches a new Coffee Pie, Chilli Cheese Bites and Malty Float

In case you missed out on the limited edition Tarik Pie which Burger King introduced earlier this year, the fast food restaurant is now launching another local flavoured pie – kopi siew dai pie (coffee with less sugar).

This pie is deep-fried to crisp on the outside and has a thick and fragrant Kopi Siew Dai-flavoured custard on inside. This pie is selling at S$1.20 each.

Also on the new menu, are the chili cheese bites. These deep-fried morsels are filled with cheese, Jalapeno chili and bell pepper. A box of six pieces retails at S$3.50.

Finally, Burger King also reintroduced their Malty Floats due to popular demand. This medium sized drink is selling at S$3.20 and you will receive a complimentary packet of 3-in-1 Milo Powder which you can sprinkle on top of your Malty Float to create your own DIY icy-cold Milo Dinosaur!

Kopitiam stall offering Xiao Long Bao Buffet at S$18.80 per person

Ramen restaurant, Master Wang’s new kopitiam stall at Woodlands is currently offering a Xiao Long Bao Buffet at just $18.80 nett for adults and $13.80 nett for children below 12 years old.

There are five dumpling dishes on the buffet menu: Original Steamed Dumpling (Xiao Long Bao), Scallop Steamed Dumpling, Lala Steamed Dumpling, Fragrant Pan Fried Dumpling and Steamed Dumpling.

This Xiao Long Bao buffet also comes with a complimentary seafood mini wok.

The buffet is available every Monday to Saturday, from 5pm to 8:30pm, limited to first 30 customers per day. Diners are advised to make a reservation at +65 8733 3171 before heading down.

This Yishun retro snacks shop sells its goodies via Facebook Live and conducts lucky draw

Now, this Yishun retro snacks shop is also using the same platform to sell their old school snacks. Each Facebook live session, which last at least an hour features many of the old school snacks found in their physical shop. Facebook users can comment during the Facebook Live session to order. Japan’s Fluffy Soufflé Pancake Company Opens in Vivocity

Japan’s most famous and fluffy soufflé pancake company, Gram Pancakes Singapore, is finally opening its flagship store at Vivocity on 16 June.

Their original soufflé pancakes, also known as the Premium Pancakes (S$17.90) is a stack of three jiggly discs, each 4cm thick. They are served with house-made butter, whipped cream and maple syrup.

The Premium Pancakes are prepared upon order and sales are only limited to 30 servings, three times a day at 1100hr, 1500hr, and 1800hr. Each person is also limited to one order, giving the premium name even more exclusivity.

However, even if you are not able to try the original Premium Pancakes, there are also other sweet and savory, classic thin pancakes to lay your hands on.

The other selections include fruits and chocolate pancakes (S$15.90), caramelized banana pancakes (S$13.90), coconut custard pancakes (S$13.90) and tiramisu pancakes (S$15.90).

Alternatively, you can also have your pancakes served English breakfast style –  turkey bacon and scrambled eggs ($18.90), chilli beans with cheddar, sausage, and potato ($18.90), or smoked salmon and avocado ($19.90).
