The Hello Kitty Run 2019 is back and this year’s race pack has a Hello Kitty LED Lantern

The 4th edition of the Hello Kitty Run will happen on 7th September 2019 at the Meadow, Gardens by the Bay at 7pm.

This year, the 5km race is themed “the moon walk”, which is a tie-in with the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.

According to the organizer, participants will experience the lunar appreciation with many traditional games and insta-worthy Hello Kitty photo opportunities.

Registration for the Hello Kitty Run is now open and will end on 25 August 2019. The registration fee is S$60.

First ever Pokémon Parade in Jewel Changi Airport featuring Mimikyu

Calling out to all Pokémon fans in Singapore!

The first ever Pokémon Parade at Jewel Changi Airport will be happening in the mall every weekend for the entire month of July, starting from 6 July 2019!

The duration for the parade is approximately 30 minutes and will take place twice a day (2pm and 6pm).

The parade will start from the west corridor of Shiseido Forest Valley on level 1 before proceeding to the North Canyon where the Pokémons will perform a four-minute dance.

The contingent for this parade comprises of eight Pikachu, one Eevee and one Mimikyu.

Pink Dot SG to return this Saturday, focusing on discrimination faced by LGBTQ community

Into its 11th year now, Pink Dot SG is an annual event in support of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) community in Singapore.

Last year’s edition attracted 113 local sponsors. As of press time, Pink Dot has garnered 100 local sponsors.

The event this year will be held this Saturday (29 June 2019) at the Hong Lim Park. Doors will be open at 4pm. Supporters can picnic in the park or take part in the activities at the community tent within the park.

The concert will start at 7pm, culminating in the signature light up at 8.45pm. This year’s concert is headline by TheLionCityBoy, Altruism and Disco Hue.

The ambassadors for this year are accomplished writer-director, Beatrice Chia-Richmond, Youtuber Preeti Nair, Yale-NUS Graduate Subhas Nair.
