At S$3.50 per hour, this Singapore KTV Chain is probably the cheapest to go to

We remembered the times when we were still (dirt) poor students: Going to the KTV with friends is considered a  luxury outing because of the exorbitant price.

Fast forward 10 years, with the entrance of budget karaoke chains like Teo Heng and Ten Dollar Club KTV, it’s more affordable for most of us.

Now, it looks like  the KTV prices are going down further with a new player in the industry – Playlist KTV.

About the Two Outlets

The family friendly KTV currently has two outlets. The West Coast CC branch offers 12 private rooms of different sizes while its VIP room can house up to 18 people. Aspiring singers can also sing in the hall in front of an audience. The other outlet at Sembawang CC is slightly smaller. It has 5 private rooms, with the biggest room able to house 9 pax.

Also, visitors can access  the song catalog from their phones. This saves time and the hassle of waiting for that friend who can’t decide what song to sing.

Budget Pricing

Here’s the rates as of 6 June 2019:

*** Happy Hour: Weekdays from 1300hr – 1900hr

There is also a free drink for each 3 hours block booked.

However, note that there is a minimum requirement of 2 pax to book the small rooms. For West Coast CC outlets, minimum 3 pax required on Fridays, Saturdays and eves of public holiday nights.

Other Amenities

Both outlets offer free wifi services and there are dart machines at the main hallway. Each play is S$1.
