Cathay Cineplexes to offer 1-for-1 weekend movie tickets for the entire month of August

Cathay Cineplexes box offices will be offering movie-goers 1-for-1 movie tickets (~S$13) every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) for the entire month of August.

This promotion is available for the first 800 redemptions every weekend and must be purchased with PAssion POSB Debit Card. The 1-for-1 movie tickets must also be for the same movie and show date and time.

In addition, this promotion is not valid for online bookings and not valid for 3D movies, Tamil/Hindi films and movies screened at the Platinum Movie Suites and other discounts.

Downtown East Carpark to be converted into Drive-In Cinema, airing The Greatest Showman

On 8 August 2020, the open-air Begonia carpark (Pasir Ris) will be converted into a drive-in cinema from 7.30pm.

Admission is charged by per car of 5 pax. Each admission pass is S$20.80. The price of admission includes two burgers and drinks from Ministry Of Burgers. The food and beverages would also be served by waiters on rollerskates.

In addition, the movie’s audio will be played through your car via a dedicated radio channel.

Homegrown Muah Chee Brand Offering 2-For-1 Promo on DIY Kit, including unique flavours like kaya and matcha

From now till 31 July 2020, homegrown Muah Chee brand, Muah Chee Boy, is offering a 2-For-1 deal for its DIY Muah Chee Home Kit – 300g (any flavor).

The DIY Home-Kit comes in three sizes: 300g (3-5 pax), 600g (5-7 pax) and 1kg (10-12 pax).

There are currently five flavours: Original, Pandan Kaya, Chocolate, Black Sesame, and Matcha. Additionally, there is also a yuan yang option where you can mix and match flavors.

Chicken Rice Stall returns with S$0.55 Chicken Rice NDP Promotion for Seniors

OK Chicken Rice had on many occasions gave back to the society by offering free chicken rice to the needy.

Now, to celebrate Singapore’s 55th birthday, the Chicken Rice stall is now treating seniors aged 50 and above to their signature chicken rice at S$0.55 per plate.

Tung Lok Seafood launches ala carte buffet at S$28++, includes Salmon Sashimi

The Tung Lok Seafood has launched 4 ala carte options for its seafood buffet. Here’s the price-list.

The buffet comes with a selection of cold cuts and appetizers, soup, dim sum, delicacies, rice and noodles and desserts.

Some popular dishes include the salmon sashimi, Tung Lok chilli prawns, and braised fish maw soup (limited to one serving per person).

Deluxe buffet comes with additional (more expensive) dish options like Tanjia-style Braised Fresh Shark’s Fin with Crab Claw, Raw Live Oyster, Sauteed Scallop and Broccoli with XO Sauce (limited to one serving per person).
